    Makes 18 Krispie Pops

    • 1 cup American Heritage® Chocolate Block
    • Pops:
    • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter
    • 4 cups miniature marshmallows (or 10 oz. regular marshmallows)
    • 6 cups crisped rice cereal
    • Chocolate Dip:
    • Popsicle or lollipop sticks
    • Sprinkles
    Step 1

Grease a 12 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray or some melted butter.

    Step 2

In a large pot over medium heat, melt the 3 tablespoons of butter. Once the butter has melted, add in the marshmallows and continue to stir over medium heat until fully melted.

    Step 3

Once the marshmallows have melted, remove pot from heat and add in the cereal. Use a spatula to mix the cereal with the marshmallow mixture, working quickly to incorporate before the mixture cools too much.

    Step 4

Pour the warm cereal mixture into the greased pan, spreading it out with the spatula into one even layer. Place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to firm up, while you melt the chocolate.

    Step 5

Melt the chocolate over medium heat in a double boiler. Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate in the microwave, pausing every thirty seconds to stir and distribute heat, to prevent burning.

    Step 6

Prepare a cookie sheet, lined with parchment paper or greased, to rest the pops once they are dipped.

    Step 7

Remove the pops from the refrigerator and cut into 18- 2 x 3-inch rectangles. Place a popsicle or lollipop stick into one of the edges of each piece, stopping about half-way.

    Step 8

Dip the pops in the melted chocolate, give them a spin to remove any excess, sprinkle as you wish. Place on cookie sheet to put into the refrigerator for 20 to 30 minutes until chocolate firms up. Pops will last in an airtight container, refrigerated, for up to 4 days.
