They will be featured in the Hidden History of Chocolate video series on the AMERICAN HERITAGE Chocolate Instagram page (@americanheritagechocolate). Kwasi Hope is a trained historian turned popular content creator whose museum videos have captured millions of views and sparked a new wave of interest in history among Gen Z and Millennial audiences. As the creator and host of Hidden History, Kwasi travels across the country uncovering the untold stories behind America’s historic sites, museums, and local landmarks. Together with Mars Snacking’s Dave Borghesani, Kwasi will cover all aspects of chocolate history, including where the word “chocolate” actually came from, the origins of the cacao plant, and early chocolate production and its connection to slavery. The duo will dive into American chocolate history and explore how chocolate played a big role in the lives of our Founders 250 years ago.
