WHAT TO WEAR?

Business casual attire for the HCS 2026 daytime sessions is encouraged. There will be breaks between the daytime sessions and the evening activities for you to freshen up and change, if you would like. For the Gala Dinner, plan on business chic attire.

This year, all events will be indoors with minimal outdoor exposure. Bus transportation will be available for the first night to and from Planet Word. Our meeting sessions and the Gala Dinner and Awards evening will be in The Ritz-Carlton, Washington D.C.

Please keep in mind that winter weather in Washington, D.C. is changeable. In mid-February, the daily average temperature ranges from 28°F to 47°F.

By Metro:

  • Take the Blue, Orange, or Silver line to the Foggy Bottom-GWU station, which is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

By Car:

  • Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is 4.6 miles from the hotel.
  • Dulles International Airport is 22 miles and approximately a 33-minute drive from the hotel (depending on traffic).
