Speaker Biography

Nia Mosby is the Head of Programs & Civic Season at Made By Us, where she leads the flagship summer program, Civic Season, connecting young people with over 700 museums, historic sites, and cultural institutions nationwide. Through this work, she creates opportunities for participants to engage with history and civics in ways that are meaningful and actionable in their communities.

With over a decade of experience in nonprofit administration, Nia is driven by empathy and a desire to make a conscious, meaningful difference. Her background in Western Art History inspires her to ensure that people of color are properly represented in historical narratives.

Outside of her nonprofit work, Nia is also part of a collective that works to support Mutual Aid efforts in her community.
