The Future in Motion

We can’t wait to see you on February 19-20, 2025, in Washington D.C.!

This year’s Heritage Chocolate Society Meeting will build on what we have learned in past meetings and focus on Engagement, Purpose and Relevance as they relate to historical and cultural museums.

This year we will explore how museums can use their facilities in new and creative ways to gain members and serve the public. We will discuss how museums can continue to grow their power as agnostic civic centers and finally, reveal how museums can embrace and use the new AI revolution.

Every speaker and panel will be positioned to take these critical discussion points forward, evolving the conversation in a positive, momentum-building way.

The future truly is in motion, and we’re counting down the days

History of the Heritage Chocolate Society

For two decades, Mars Wrigley has hosted an annual gathering of North American historical sites for you to explore innovative ways to engage, educate, and entertain visitors and reach new guests with the stories of history. The Heritage Chocolate Society, originally known as the Colonial Chocolate Society, was formed by Forrest E. Mars in 2003 to unite history professionals passionate about chocolate’s role in colonial and post-revolutionary North America.
